The Story
Built For The Regulars.
El Cajon has plenty of places to drink. What it was short on — the thinking went — was a room that took the drink seriously without taking itself too seriously. So Alta built one: a bar rail that treats a beer order with the same care as a stirred cocktail, a tap wall that rotates on merit, and a back room that feels like the party you meant to leave hours ago.
The name's a quirk of paperwork and paint; the room's the point. Come as you are, order what you want, stay longer than you planned.
